The reset code for your Rover 414 Si is a six-digit number. You can find it in the vehicle's owner's manual or on the Rover website.
Step 2: Open Your Driver's Door
Once you have your reset code, open the driver's door of your Rover 414 Si.
Step 3: Turn On the Ignition
Turn the ignition to the "On" position but do not start the engine.
Step 4: Enter Your Reset Code
Within five seconds of turning on the ignition, use the radio preset buttons to enter your reset code. Enter the first digit by pressing the preset button for that number. Then, press the ">" button to advance to the next digit. Repeat this process for all six digits of your reset code.
Step 5: Turn Off the Ignition
After you have entered your reset code, turn off the ignition.
Step 6: Wait
Wait for 30 seconds.
Step 7: Start the Engine
After 30 seconds, start the engine of your Rover 414 Si. The immobilizer should be reset.
