1. Park your vehicle in a safe and well-lit area.
>Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down before starting the repair. Engage the parking brake to prevent the vehicle from rolling.
2. Locate the headlight assembly.
>The headlight assembly is located at the front of the vehicle, on either side of the grille. It is typically secured by a few bolts or screws.
3. Remove the bolts or screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.
>Use a screwdriver or wrench to loosen and remove the bolts or screws.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly.
>Gently press the release tab on the connector and pull it straight off the headlight assembly.
5. Remove the old headlight bulb from the assembly.
>Turn the bulb counterclockwise to unlock it from the assembly, then pull it straight out. Be careful not to touch the glass part of the bulb, as this can cause it to break.
6. Install the new headlight bulb.
>Align the new bulb with the socket in the assembly, and turn it clockwise to lock it in place. Make sure that the bulb is properly seated in the socket before proceeding.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight assembly.
>Gently press the connector onto the headlight assembly until it clicks into place.
8. Reinstall the bolts or screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.
>Tighten the bolts or screws until they are snug.
9. Test the new headlight bulb.
>Turn on the headlights and make sure that the new bulb is working properly.
10. Repeat steps 2-9 for the other headlight, if necessary.
