1. Disconnect the fuel supply line from the injector pump.
2. Remove the timing front cover.
3. Turn the crankshaft until the piston in the number one cylinder is at the top of its compression stroke.
4. Locate the timing mark on the injection pump.
5. Align the timing mark on the injection pump with the timing mark on the engine.
6. Install the timing front cover.
7. Reconnect the fuel supply line to the injector pump.
8. Start the engine and check the timing.
