Step 1
Locate the tail light assembly. The tail light assembly is located in the rear of the vehicle, on the right hand side. It is held in place by two bolts.
Step 2
Remove the bolts. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two bolts that hold the tail light assembly in place.
Step 3
Remove the tail light assembly. Once the bolts are removed, you can pull the tail light assembly straight out of the vehicle. Be careful not to drop it.

Disconnect the electrical connector. There is an electrical connector that is attached to the back of the tail light assembly. Disconnect this connector by squeezing the release tab and pulling the connector straight out.
Step 5
Replace the bulb. Remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise and then pull it straight out. To install the new bulb, insert it into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is snug.
Step 6
Reattach the electrical connector. Reconnect the electrical connector by squeezing the release tab and pushing the connector back into place.
Step 7
Reinstall the tail light assembly. Insert the tail light assembly back into the vehicle and align the mounting holes. Insert the two bolts and tighten them until they are snug.
Step 8
