The Crankshaft Position Sensor on the 1996 Chrysler Cirrus 2.5 V6 is located on the front of the engine, just below the intake manifold. It is a small, black sensor with two wires attached to it. The sensor is held in place by a single bolt.
To remove the Crankshaft Position Sensor, you will need a socket wrench and a ratchet.
1. Disconnect the two wires from the sensor.
2. Remove the bolt that holds the sensor in place.
3. Pull the sensor out of the engine.
