Why The carburetor in my riding lawnmower getting gas?

1. Faulty needle and seat valve.

The needle and seat valve is responsible for regulating the flow of fuel into the carburetor. If the valve is damaged or worn, it can cause fuel to leak into the carburetor and cause it to flood.

2.Stuck float.

The float is a small ball that floats on the surface of the fuel in the carburetor. When the fuel level is too high, the float will rise and shut off the flow of fuel. If the float is stuck, it can prevent the fuel valve from closing properly, causing fuel to leak into the carburetor.

3. Hole or crack in the float bowl

The float bowl is the part of the carburetor that holds the fuel. If there is a hole or crack in the float bowl, it can allow fuel to leak out and cause the carburetor to flood.

4. Improper fuel pressure

If the fuel pressure is too high, it can force fuel past the needle and seat valve and cause the carburetor to flood. If the fuel pressure is too low, it may not be able to overcome the spring tension of the needle and seat valve, allowing fuel to leak into the carburetor.

5. Clogged fuel line.

A clogged fuel line can restrict the flow of fuel to the carburetor, causing it to run lean. This can cause the engine to overheat and eventually fail.
