Tools and Materials Needed
* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flat head screwdriver
* New headlight bulb (H4)
Instructions
1. Open the hood of your Geo Prizm.
2. Locate the headlight assembly on the driver's side.
3. Remove the two Phillips head screws that hold the headlight assembly in place.
4. Pull the headlight assembly out of the car.
5. Remove the rubber boot from the back of the headlight assembly.
6. Locate the headlight bulb. It is held in place by a metal clip.
7. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the metal clip up and remove it.
8. Remove the old headlight bulb from the socket.
9. Insert the new headlight bulb into the socket.
10. Replace the metal clip.
11. Replace the rubber boot.
12. Reinstall the headlight assembly in the car.
13. Replace the two Phillips head screws.
14. Close the hood of your Geo Prizm.
Tips
* Be careful not to drop the headlight bulb. If it does drop, it could shatter into tiny pieces.
* If you have trouble removing the metal clip, use a pair of needle-nose pliers to grip it.
