- new fuel filter

2. Prepare your vehicle.
- Park your vehicle on a level surface.
- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
- Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the fuel filter.
- The fuel filter is located under the car, near the fuel tank.
- It is a cylindrical-shaped object with two fuel lines connected to it.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines.
- Use the 3/8" wrench to loosen the fuel line nuts.
- Be careful not to spill any fuel.
- Plug the fuel lines with the plugs that came with the new fuel filter.
5. Remove the old fuel filter.
- Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the fuel filter in place.
- Gently remove the old fuel filter from the car.
6. Install the new fuel filter.
- Apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to the new fuel filter's O-rings.
- Position the new fuel filter in place and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.
7. Reconnect the fuel lines.
- Remove the plugs from the fuel lines and reconnect them to the fuel filter.
- Tighten the fuel line nuts until they are snug.
8. Start the engine and check for leaks.
- Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes.
- Check for any leaks around the fuel filter.
- If there are no leaks, you have successfully changed the fuel filter.
