1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the clutch cable adjustment nut at the top of the clutch housing.
3. Use a wrench to loosen the locknut on the adjustment nut.
4. Turn the adjustment nut clockwise to tighten the clutch cable.
5. Turn the adjustment nut counterclockwise to loosen the clutch cable.
6. Test the clutch by pulling in the clutch lever. The lever should move freely with little resistance. If the lever is too tight, loosen the clutch cable. If the lever is too loose, tighten the clutch cable.
7. Hold down the clutch lever and start the motorcycle.
8. Put the motorcycle in first gear and slowly release the clutch lever. The motorcycle should move forward smoothly.
9. Adjust the clutch cable as necessary until the motorcycle moves forward smoothly without hesitation or slipping.
10. Tighten the locknut to secure the adjustment nut.
