1. Ensure that the vehicle is in park and on a level surface.
2. Locate the transmission fill plug. It is usually located on the side of the transmission pan, near the front of the vehicle.
3. Clean the area around the fill plug to prevent dirt or debris from entering the transmission.
4. Remove the fill plug.
5. Insert a funnel into the fill hole.
6. Add transmission fluid until the fluid level reaches the "FULL" mark on the dipstick.
7. Replace the fill plug.
8. Start the vehicle and let it run for a few minutes.
9. Check the transmission fluid level again and add more fluid if necessary.
