The fuel filter on the 1995 XJS Jaguar is located in the front of the vehicle, on the passenger side. The filter is located behind the front wheel, and is accessible by removing the wheel well liner.
To remove the fuel filter, you will need the following tools:
- 10mm wrench
- Flat-head screwdriver
-Pliers
1. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the wheel-well liner.
2. Locate the fuel filter which will be a black cylindrical object with two fuel lines attached to it.
3. Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the fuel line connections on both ends of the fuel filter.
4. Once the fuel lines are disconnected, use pliers to remove the fuel filter from the fuel line.
5. Install the new fuel filter in reverse order of removal, and tighten the fuel line connections until snug.
6. Replace the wheel-well liner and lower the vehicle.
Note: When removing and installing the fuel filter, be mindful not to spill any fuel. Fuel can be flammable and dangerous, so take necessary precautions.
