2. Disconnect the wire connector. Disconnect the wire connector from the crank sensor.
3. Remove the mounting bolt. Use a wrench to remove the mounting bolt that holds the crank sensor in place.
4. Remove the crank sensor. Once the mounting bolt is removed, you can remove the crank sensor from the engine.
5. If part of the crank sensor has broken off, you will need to remove the broken piece from the engine. Use a pair of pliers or tweezers to remove the broken piece.
6. Install a new crank sensor. Insert the new crank sensor into the engine and secure it with the mounting bolt.
7. Reconnect the wire connector. Reconnect the wire connector to the crank sensor.
