1. Gather the necessary tools and materials. You will need:
* A jack and jack stands
* A ratchet
* A socket set
* A wrench
* A screwdriver
* New shocks
* Shock mounting hardware
2. Park the Camaro on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
3. Loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheels.
4. Jack up the rear of the Camaro and place jack stands under the frame.
5. Remove the wheels.
6. Locate the upper shock mounting bolts. There are two bolts on each side of the Camaro.
7. Use the ratchet and socket to remove the upper shock mounting bolts.
8. Locate the lower shock mounting bolts. There is one bolt on each side of the Camaro.
9. Use the ratchet and socket to remove the lower shock mounting bolts.
10. Remove the old shocks from the Camaro.
11. Install the new shocks.
12. Insert the upper shock mounting bolts through the holes in the frame and the shocks.

14. Insert the lower shock mounting bolts through the holes in the axle housing and the shocks.
15. Place the flat washers and nuts on the bolts and tighten them until they are snug.
16. Replace the wheels.
17. Lower the Camaro off the jack stands.
18. Test drive the Camaro to ensure that the shocks are installed correctly.
Tips:
* When removing the old shocks, be careful not to damage the brake lines.
* When installing the new shocks, be sure to orient them correctly. The upper shock mount should be higher than the lower shock mount.
* Tighten all of the bolts until they are snug. Do not overtighten the bolts, as this can damage the threads.
