The washer pump on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee is located in the front of the vehicle, on the passenger side, near the bottom of the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is a small, black cylindrical device with two electrical connectors and two fluid hoses. The pump is responsible for drawing windshield washer fluid from the reservoir and spraying it onto the windshield when the windshield washer switch is activated.
