How do you check the transmission oil in a Lincoln ls?

To check the transmission fluid level in a Lincoln LS, you will need the following:

- A clean, lint-free rag

- A funnel

- Transmission fluid (if needed)

- A lift or ramps (optional)

Instructions:

1. Park your Lincoln LS on a level surface. If possible, use a lift or ramps to raise the vehicle and make it easier to access the transmission fluid dipstick.

2. Open the hood of your vehicle.

3. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick. It is usually located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the back of the engine. It may have a yellow or orange handle.

4. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with the rag.

5. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission fluid tube until it is seated properly.

6. Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. It should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.

7. If the fluid level is low, add enough fluid through the dipstick tube using a funnel to bring it up to the "full" mark.

8. Reinsert the dipstick and make sure it is seated properly.

9. Close the hood of your vehicle.

Note: Some Lincoln LS models may have an electronic transmission fluid level indicator. If this is the case, please consult your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions on how to check the transmission fluid level.
