Tools needed:
* New diesel fuel filter * Diesel fuel
* Funnel
* Wrench
* Rags
* Safety glasses
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Locate the fuel filter * typically, found beneath the van, on the driver's side, or next to the engine's firewall in the engine bay.
3. Place a rag beneath the fuel filter to catch any spilled diesel.
4. Loosen the fuel line connections to the fuel filter using a wrench.
5. Remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise.
6. Apply a thin coat of diesel to the new fuel filter's O-ring to create a seal.
7. Screw the new fuel filter on by hand until snug, then tighten it using a wrench.
8. Reconnect the fuel lines and tighten the clamps.
9. Fill the fuel tank and reconnect the battery.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks; If you see any, tighten the connections further.
