1. Locate the Ignition Wire:
- Identify the ignition wire in your vehicle. It is typically a red or orange wire with a white stripe.
- This wire provides power to your car's ignition system and turns on when you turn the key to the "ON" position.
2. Connect to Power:
- Connect one end of the ignition wire from your Pioneer CD player to the ignition wire in your vehicle.
- Use a crimp connector or solder the wires together, and then insulate the connection with electrical tape.
3. Connect to CD Player:
- Connect the other end of the ignition wire from your Pioneer CD player to the "ignition" or "ACC" terminal on the back of the CD player.
- This terminal provides power to the CD player when the ignition key is turned on.
4. Test the Connection:
- Once the ignition wire is connected, turn the key to the "ON" position.
- The Pioneer CD player should power on.
- If the CD player does not power on, check your connections to ensure they are secure and correct.
5. Secure the Wiring:
- Use cable ties or electrical tape to secure the ignition wire and any other loose wires to prevent them from dangling or interfering with other components in your vehicle.
6. Reassemble the Dashboard:
- Put back any panels or trim pieces you removed during the installation.
Now, when you turn the key to the "ON" position, your Pioneer CD player should receive power and turn on automatically.
