2. Locate the interior fuse box.
- In most models, the interior fuse box is located under the dashboard, on the driver’s side.
- In some models, it may be located in the center console or the glove box.
- Refer to your Toyota Alphard owner's manual to find the exact location of the fuse box.
3. Open the fuse box cover.
- The fuse box cover is typically held in place by clips or screws.
- Press on the clips or unscrew the screws to open the cover.
4. Locate the cigar lighter fuse.
- The cigar lighter fuse is usually labeled as “CIG” or “LIGHTER”.
- If you can’t find the fuse label, refer to your Toyota Alphard owner’s manual for the correct fuse location.
5. Remove the cigar lighter fuse.
- Use your fingers or a pair of tweezers to pull the fuse out of its socket.
6. Check the fuse for damage.
- A blown fuse will have a broken filament or a black discoloration inside.
- Replace the fuse if it is blown.
7. Replace the fuse box cover.
8. Test the cigar lighter.
- Turn the ignition to the “On” position and press the cigar lighter button.
- The cigar lighter should light up if the fuse is replaced correctly.
