Instructions
1.) Make sure the engine is cold before beginning.
2.) Find the timing cover. It will be on the front of the engine, held on with several bolts.
3.) Remove the alternator.
4.) Remove the idler pulley.
5.) Remove the timing cover bolts and remove the timing cover.
6.) You will now see the timing chain and gears.
7.) Loosen the tensioner bolt and remove the timing chain.
8.) Install the new timing chain and tension the tensioner bolt.
9.) Replace the timing cover and other parts in reverse order of removal.
Be sure to follow the factory torque specifications for all bolts.
