Shift Solenoid A
- is located on the driver's side of the transmission, near the top.

- It controls the shifting from 3rd to 4th gear.
To replace a shift solenoid, you will need to:
- Raise the vehicle and support it on jack stands.
- Remove the transmission pan.
- Remove the solenoid assembly.
- Replace the solenoid with a new one.
- Reinstall the solenoid assembly and the transmission pan.
- Lower the vehicle.
