How do you get air out the engine after it overheats?

If your engine has overheated, it's important to let it cool down completely before attempting to remove any air from the system. Once the engine has cooled down, you can follow these steps to get the air out of the engine:

1. Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add coolant until it reaches the proper level.

2. Open the radiator cap. This will allow air to escape from the radiator.

3. Run the engine at idle. This will help circulate the coolant and remove any trapped air.

4. Squeeze the radiator hoses. This will help dislodge any air bubbles that may be trapped in the hoses.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 until no more air bubbles are seen escaping from the radiator.

6. Replace the radiator cap.

It's important to note that if your engine has overheated, you should have it inspected by a mechanic to identify the cause of the overheating and to ensure that no damage has been done to the engine.
