1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will prevent any electrical shorts from occurring while you are working.
2. Remove the old radio from the dash. This can be done by removing the screws that hold it in place.
3. Connect the wiring harness to the CD player. The wiring harness will usually have color-coded wires that match the color-coded wires on the CD player. Connect the wires according to the instructions in the CD player's owner's manual.
4. Install the CD player in the dash. Secure it in place with the screws that you removed in step 1.
5. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
6. Turn on the CD player and test it. Make sure that all of the speakers are working properly.
