1. Open the hood of your Dodge Dakota.
2. Locate the engine cover, which is usually a black plastic cover on top of the engine.
3. Remove the engine cover by unlatching the clips or bolts that hold it in place.
4. Once the engine cover is removed, you will see the engine block.
5. The spark plugs are located on the top of the engine block, one for each cylinder.
