1. Open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the serpentine belt at the front of the engine.
3. Follow the serpentine belt to the crankshaft pulley.
4. Locate the small round hole on the crankshaft pulley; this is where you will find the timing marks.
5. Once you have found the hole, line up the timing mark on the pulley with the pointer on the engine block. This will ensure that the timing is correctly set for your engine.
