1. Put on your seat belt and fasten it.
2. Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the “On” position, but do not start the car.
3. Wait for audible sound to finish.
4. Once the audible sound has stopped, quickly unbuckle and then re-buckle your seatbelt.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
6. On your fourth time rebuckling, leave your seatbelt buckled and wait approximately 60 seconds.
Method 2 (using a jumper wire)
1. Purchase or locate a jumper wire.
2. Place the probe end of the jumper wire into pin 17 and pin 4 of the diagnostic link connector (DLC).
3. Turn the ignition to the “On” position.
4. Pull out jumper wire and the seatbelt chime should now be turned off.
