1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the fuel filter cover located under the rear of the vehicle, between the fuel tank and the rear axle.
3. Remove the fuel filter.
4. Remove the fuel supply and return lines from the fuel filter housing.
5. Remove the bolts holding the fuel pump sending unit in place.
6. Carefully remove the fuel pump sending unit from the fuel tank.
7. Remove the fuel pump from the sending unit.
8. Install a new fuel pump and sending unit.
9. Reinstall the bolts holding the fuel pump sending unit in place.
10. Reattach the fuel supply and return lines to the filter housing.
11. Install a new fuel filter.
12. Reinstall the fuel filter cover.
13. Connect the battery.
