2. Locate the door handle release button inside your vehicle. It is usually located on the inside of the door, near the handle itself.
3. Press and hold the door handle release button while pulling on the outside door handle. The door handle should come off easily.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the door handle. There may be a small clip or tab that you need to release in order to disconnect the connector.
5. Remove the two bolts that secure the door handle to the door. These bolts are usually located on the inside of the door, near the door handle.
6. Pull the door handle out of the door. Be careful not to drop the bolts or the electrical connector.
7. Reverse the above steps to install the new door handle. Make sure that the electrical connector is properly connected before you tighten the bolts.
8. Test the door handle to make sure that it is working properly.
