1. Open the hood of the car.
2. Locate the air intake assembly, which is usually near the front of the engine bay.
3. Follow the air intake tube until it connects to the throttle body.
4. The fuel filter will typically be located near the connection between the air intake tube and the throttle body. It may be made of plastic or metal and have fuel lines connected to it.
