- Oil filter wrench(s)
- Oil pan
- Funnel
- Wrench

- Oil (1.1 liters)
1. First run your engine for a few minutes then turn it off.
2. Place the oil pan under the oil drain plug and remove the bolt with a wrench. Some XRs have a second drain plug at the front for the clutch.
3. Allow the bike to drain for a few minutes, then replace the drain plug.
4. Next locate the oil filter.
5. Remove the oil filter using the oil filter wrench and replace the filter with a new one.
6. Add 1.1 liters of oil with a funnel.
7. Check the oil level using the oil sight glass. The oil should be between the two marks on the glass.
8. Start the bike and let it run for a few minutes, then check for leaks.
