1. Park your vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down.
2. Open the hood of your Aerostar. Locate the oil filler cap, which is usually marked with an oil can symbol.
3. Remove the oil filler cap.
4. Use a funnel to add new engine oil to the engine. The oil capacity of a 1994 Ford Aerostar is 5 quarts (4.7 liters) with a filter change.
5. Replace the oil filler cap.
6. Check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
NOTE: If you overfill the engine with oil, it can cause damage to the engine. Be careful not to add too much oil.
