How do you change the crankshaft sensor on a 2000 Impala 3.4?

Here are the steps on how to replace the crankshaft sensor on a 2000 Impala 3.4:

1.) Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2.) Unscrew the two bolts that hold the harmonic balancer in place and remove the balancer.

3.) Unplug the electrical connector from the crankshaft sensor.

4.) Unscrew the two bolts that hold the sensor in place and remove the sensor.

5.) Install the new sensor and tighten the bolts.

6.) Plug in the electrical connector.

7.) Reinstall the harmonic balancer and tighten the bolts.

8.) Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
