Instructions:
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and allow the engine to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shock.
3. Drain the coolant from the radiator by opening the pet under the radiator. Place a drain pan beneath the pet to catch the coolant.
4. Locate the water pump. It is usually located on the front of the engine, near the bottom.
5. Remove the bolts or nuts that hold the water pump in place. Be careful not to drop any bolts or nuts into the engine compartment.
6. Remove the old water pump and gasket. Be careful not to damage the gasket surface on the engine.
7. Clean the gasket surface on the engine with a degreaser and a wire brush.
8. Apply a thin bead of sealant to the new gasket.
9. Install the new gasket and water pump. Be careful not to over-tighten the bolts or nuts.
10. Reconnect the coolant hose and belt to the water pump.
11. Refill the radiator with coolant.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for leaks and make sure the temperature gauge is working properly.
13. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
14. Close the hood and you're done!
