The cup holder is located in the center of the console. It is held in place by two screws on the bottom. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws and then lift the cup holder out of the console.
Step 2: Remove the shift knob
The shift knob is located on the floor of the console. It is held in place by a retaining ring. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the retaining ring off and then lift the shift knob out of the console.
Step 3: Remove the screws holding down the console
There are four screws holding down the console. Two screws are located at the front of the console and two screws are located at the back. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws.
Step 4: Lift up the console
Once the screws are removed, you can lift up the console and remove it from the car.
Here are some additional tips for lifting up the console:
- Be careful not to damage the console or the surrounding trim when lifting it up.
- If the console is stuck, you may need to use a pry bar or a flathead screwdriver to loosen it up.
- If the console has a lot of wires attached to it, you may need to disconnect the wires before you can remove the console.
