How do you adjust a cub 154 lo boy carburetor?

To adjust the carburetor on a Cub 154 Lo Boy:

1. Start by removing the air cleaner cover.

2. Locate the two adjustment screws on the side of the carburetor. The top screw is for the idle mixture, and the bottom screw is for the main jet.

3. Turn the idle mixture screw clockwise until it is lightly seated.

4. Start the engine and let it warm up.

5. Turn the idle mixture screw counterclockwise until the engine runs smoothly.

6. Turn the main jet screw clockwise until the engine begins to run rough.

7. Then, turn the main jet screw counterclockwise until the engine runs smoothly.

8. Reinstall the air cleaner cover and test drive the tractor to ensure the carburetor is properly adjusted.
