Replacing the Front Lamp in a Suzuki Ignis

Materials needed:

New front lamp (compatible with your specific Suzuki Ignis model)

Phillips screwdriver

Pliers

Instructions:

1. Open the Hood:

Lift the lever inside your car to release the hood.

Locate the safety catch on the front of your car and disengage it.

Prop open the hood with the provided support rod.

2. Remove the Headlight Cover:

Locate the headlight assembly on the side where you need to replace the lamp.

Remove the plastic cover over the headlight assembly by gently unclipping it.

3. Disconnect the Electrical Connector:

Locate the electrical connector on the back of the headlight assembly.

Gently squeeze the locking tab on the connector and pull it out to disconnect it.

4. Remove the Old Lamp:

Locate the burnt-out lamp inside the headlight assembly.

Rotate the lamp socket counterclockwise to unlock it.

Pull the lamp socket out of the assembly and remove the old lamp.

5. Insert the New Lamp:

Carefully insert the new lamp into the lamp socket.

Ensure that the new lamp is properly seated and firmly in place.

6. Secure the Lamp Socket:

Gently turn the lamp socket clockwise to secure it in place.

Do not over-tighten the lamp socket.

7. Reconnect the Electrical Connector:

Align the electrical connector with its socket and push it in firmly until you hear a click.

8. Reattach the Headlight Cover:

Place the plastic cover over the headlight assembly.

Press on the cover until it securely snaps into place.

9. Close the Hood:

Lower the hood and ensure it is properly latched.

Close the hood and test your new lamp by turning on the headlights and checking for proper function.
