3. Remove Ignition Lock Housing:

- Pull the lock cylinder and key together out of the housing.
- Remove the screws holding the ignition lock housing in place.
- Carefully pry open the ignition lock housing to expose the ignition switch.
4. Disconnect Electrical Connections:
- Disconnect any electrical connectors attached to the ignition switch. Make note of the wiring configuration for reassembly.
5. Remove Ignition Switch:
- Remove the screws or bolts securing the ignition switch to the steering column.
- Carefully remove the ignition switch from the column.
6. Install New Ignition Switch:
- Place the new ignition switch into the steering column, ensuring proper alignment.
- Secure the ignition switch with the removed screws or bolts.
7. Reconnect Electrical Connections:
- Reconnect the electrical connectors to the ignition switch according to the noted wiring configuration.
8. Reinstall Ignition Lock Housing:
- Reassemble the ignition lock housing around the ignition switch.
- Secure the housing with the previously removed screws.
9. Reinstall Lock Cylinder:
- Insert the lock cylinder into the housing.
- Turn the key to ensure it engages smoothly in the lock cylinder.
10. Reinstall Steering Wheel:
- Carefully reattach the steering wheel to the steering shaft.
- Secure the steering wheel bolt.
- Reinstall the steering wheel cover if applicable.
11. Reconnect Battery:
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
12. Test Ignition:
- Test the ignition by turning the key to ensure the vehicle starts and the ignition lock functions properly.
