Is there a trick in detaching the fan clutch from water pump for 1994 Mazda Navajo?

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent the engine from starting while you are working on it.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. This will give you access to the fan clutch.

3. Apply penetrating oil to the bolts holding the fan clutch to the water pump. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the oil to loosen any rust or corrosion.

4. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts holding the fan clutch to the water pump. Be careful not to drop the bolts into the engine compartment.

5. Remove the fan clutch from the water pump. Be careful not to damage the water pump or the fan clutch.

6. Reconnect the battery.
