Ensure the engine is cool and level on the ground.
Locate the hydraulic oil reservoir. It should be labeled, and is usually located near the front of the backhoe, below the operator’s seat.
Clean the area around the hydraulic oil reservoir. Use a clean, dry rag to wipe away any dirt or debris.
Remove the hydraulic oil reservoir cap.
Add hydraulic oil to the reservoir. Slowly add oil until it reaches the “Full” mark or the specified oil level on the dipstick. Use the type of hydraulic oil recommended by Mitsubishi MT372d.
Replace the hydraulic oil reservoir cap.
Check the hydraulic oil level after operating the backhoe for 5 minutes. If the oil level has dropped, add more oil until the hydraulic oil level is full again.
