1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical accidents from happening while you're working on the fuel pump.
2. Find the fuel pump. It's located in the fuel tank, under the rear seat.
3. Remove the fuel tank. You'll need to disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connector to the pump. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
4. Remove the fuel pump from the tank. It's held in place by a locking ring. Use a screwdriver or a pry bar to remove the ring.
5. Install the new fuel pump. Make sure that the gasket is seated properly. Replace the locking ring.

7. Reconnect the battery.
