1. Park the tractor on level ground and engage the parking brake.
2. Open the hood of the tractor.
3. Locate the hydraulic oil reservoir. It is a large, cylindrical tank located near the rear of the engine.
4. Look for the hydraulic filter housing on the side of the hydraulic oil reservoir. It is a small, cylindrical housing with a black plastic cap.
5. Unscrew the black plastic cap from the hydraulic filter housing.
6. Remove the used hydraulic filter from the housing.
7. Inspect the old filter for signs of dirt or debris. If the filter is dirty, it is important to replace it with a new one.
8. Insert a new hydraulic filter into the housing and tighten the black plastic cap.
9. Close the hood of the tractor.
