1. Locate the bonnet release lever. It is usually located on the driver's side footwell, near the door sill.
2. Pull the bonnet release lever. This will release the bonnet latch.
3. Lift the bonnet. Use the handle on the underside of the bonnet to lift it up.
4. Prop the bonnet open. Use the prop rod to hold the bonnet open.
Here are some additional tips for opening the bonnet of a Mercedes Vito:
* If the bonnet release lever is not working, you can also use the emergency bonnet release cable. This cable is located in the engine bay, near the battery.
* If the bonnet is stuck, you can try using a pry bar or screwdriver to pry it open.
* Be careful not to drop the bonnet on yourself when you are closing it.
