Step 1: Park your vehicle. Make sure your vehicle is parked in a level, safe location. Turn off the engine and set the parking brake.
Step 2: Open the fuel filler door. The fuel filler door is typically located on the side of your vehicle, near the rear wheel. It is usually marked with a fuel pump symbol. To open the fuel filler door, press the button or pull the lever located near the door.
Step 3: Remove the fuel cap. Unscrew the fuel cap by turning it counterclockwise.
Step 4: Insert the fuel nozzle into the fuel tank. Make sure the nozzle is fully inserted into the fuel tank.
Step 5: Start refueling. Squeeze the trigger on the fuel nozzle to start refueling your vehicle.
Step 6: Stop refueling when the fuel tank is full. The fuel pump will automatically shut off when the fuel tank is full.
Step 7: Replace the fuel cap. Screw the fuel cap back onto the fuel tank by turning it clockwise until it is tight.
Step 8: Close the fuel filler door. Push the fuel filler door closed until it clicks shut.
Step 9: Drive safely. Enjoy your drive!
Note:
- Be careful not to overfill the fuel tank. This can damage your vehicle's engine.
- If you spill any fuel, be sure to clean it up immediately. Fuel is flammable and can be dangerous.
