1. Locate the OBD-II port in your vehicle. It is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
2. Connect an OBD-II scanner to the port.
3. Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine.
4. Navigate through the scanner's menu to the option to clear or reset the engine light.
5. Select the option to clear or reset the engine light and follow any prompts on the scanner.
6. Once the engine light is reset, turn off the ignition and then restart the engine. The engine light should now be off.
