How do you change the spark plugs in a 2003 Chrysler Sebring?

Tools and Materials Needed:

- Spark plug socket wrench

- Spark plugs gaps

- New spark plug wires

- New spark plugs

- Ratchet and extension

- Gap gauge

Instructions:

1. Turn off the engine and wait for it to cool down.

2. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical shocks while you're working.

3. Locate the spark plugs. The spark plugs are located on the top of the engine, under the ignition coils.

4. Remove the ignition coils. To remove a coil, use a ratchet with the proper socket size to loosen the bolt that holds the coil. Then, disconnect the electrical connector.

5. Remove the old spark plugs. Once you've removed the ignition coil, you can remove the spark plug. To do this, use a spark plug socket wrench to turn the spark plug counterclockwise until it comes loose.

6. Check the gaps on the new spark plugs. The gaps on the spark plugs must be set correctly in order to ensure proper ignition. To check the gaps, use a gap gauge. The correct gap for your specific engine can be found in the owner's manual.

7. Install the new spark plugs. To install a sparkplug, thread it into the cylinder head by hand until it is hand tight. Then, use a spark plug socket wrench to tighten it until it is snug.

8. Reinstall the ignition coils. Reconnect the electrical connector and tighten the bolt that holds the coil.

9. Reconnect the battery.

Now your spark plugs are changed.
