2. Locate the oil drain plug: Crawl under your car and find the oil drain plug. This is usually located on the bottom of the oil pan.
3. Place the oil drain pan: Place the oil drain pan under the drain plug. Make sure it's big enough to catch all the oil that will come out.
4. Loosen the drain plug: Use the wrench to loosen the drain plug. Be careful, the oil may be hot.
5. Let the oil drain: Allow all the oil to drain from the oil pan. This may take a few minutes.
6. Replace the drain plug: Once all the oil has drained, replace the drain plug. Tighten the drain plug securely with the wrench.
7. Locate the oil filter: Find the oil filter. This is usually located near the top of the engine.
8. Remove the oil filter: Use the wrench to loosen the oil filter. Be careful, the oil may be hot.
9. Apply a thin coat of new oil: Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter. This will help to create a seal and prevent leaks.
10. Screw on the new oil filter: Screw the new oil filter onto the oil filter mount. Tighten the oil filter securely with the wrench.
11. Add new oil: Use the funnel to add new oil to the engine. Add the amount of oil specified in your owner's manual.
12. Check the oil level: Use the dipstick to check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "full" and "add" marks on the dipstick.
13. Start the engine: Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
14. Check for leaks: Look under your car for any leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the oil drain plug or oil filter until the leak stops.
15. Dispose of the old oil and filter: Properly dispose of the old oil and oil filter.
