2. Remove the serpentine belt.
3. Remove the crankshaft pulley bolt.
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
5. Remove the timing belt cover.
6. Locate the crankshaft position sensor. It is located on the front of the engine, near the bottom.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the crankshaft position sensor.
8. Remove the two bolts that hold the crankshaft position sensor in place.
9. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
10. Install the new crankshaft position sensor.
11. Tighten the two bolts that hold the crankshaft position sensor in place.
12. Reconnect the electrical connector to the crankshaft position sensor.
13. Install the timing belt cover.
14. Install the crankshaft pulley.
15. Install the serpentine belt.
16. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
