4. Connect a temporary fuel line to provide a fuel source. Submerge one end of the hose in a container of fuel, such as a gas can, and connect the other end to the fuel inlet on the carburetor or fuel injection system.
Spark Plugs:

Power Supply:
6. Connect a jumper cable or power wire from the battery's positive terminal to a terminal marked "B+," "+" or an ignition pin on the engine's ignition switch.

Grounding:
8. Ground the engine by attaching a ground wire from the battery's negative terminal to the engine block or grounding point.
Cranking:
