1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent electrical shock and damage to the electrical components of the car.
2. Remove the air filter housing. This will give you access to the starter motor.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the starter motor. There will be two electrical connectors, one large and one small.
4. Remove the bolts holding the starter motor in place. There will be two bolts, one on the top and one on the bottom.
5. Remove the starter motor from the car. Be careful not to drop it as it is heavy.
6. Install the new starter motor in reverse order.
