1. Park the car on level ground and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.
2. Open the hood.
3. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is a translucent plastic tank with a black cap located near the front of the engine compartment.
4. Check the coolant level. The coolant level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the side of the reservoir.
5. If the coolant level is low, add a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% distilled water to the reservoir until the level reaches the "MAX" mark.
6. Replace the coolant reservoir cap and close the hood.
