1. Gather the necessary tools:. You will need a small flathead screwdriver.
2. Remove the center console: First, remove the ashtray by pressing the release button and pulling it out. Next, remove the two screws located at the bottom of the ashtray opening. Finally, remove the four screws located around the edges of the center console and remove the center console.
3. Locate the heater switch: Once the center console is removed, you will be able to see the heater switch. It is located in the center of the dash, below the radio.
4. Remove the switch: Use the flathead screwdriver to pry up the switch from the dash. Be careful not to damage the surrounding plastic.
5. Remove the bulb: Once the switch is removed, you will be able to see the bulb. It is a small, round bulb that fits into a socket. Use the flathead screwdriver to pry up the bulb from the socket.
6. Insert the new bulb: Insert the new bulb into the socket. Press it in until it clicks into place.
7. Reinstall the switch: Reinstall the switch by inserting it back into the dash and securing it with the screws.
8. Reinstall the center console. Reinstall the center console by replacing the four screws around the edges and the two screws at the bottom of the ashtray opening. Finally, replace the ashtray by inserting it back into the opening and pressing the release button.
The heater switch bulb has now been replaced. Test the switch to make sure that the new bulb is working properly.
